Sunny Honolulu
If you are in the mood for a perfect autumn “work-related” getaway the perhaps Honolulu is the place for you. Not too long ago friends of our visited from New York City. Since we live in wine country, we thought it would make for a lovely-vino excursion. Of course, since there were not holiday weekend our guest had to actually take time of work. Or so I thought. As it turns out, if you are willing to squeeze in a few meetings, make a few calls, respond to a few emails, then it’s a working vacation. And depending who you work for, it might even be paid for.
Which brings us back to Honolulu and The Modern Honolulu, a business-friendly hotel in Waikiki neighborhood near Ala Moana Center. This lovely place is situated near the beach, the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium.
